Ahead of the first preview at the Vaudeville Theatre, new images have been released of the four companies who will be playing across the run.
Beginning performances tonight, the revival of Nick Payne’s play will feature four different casts of two across the run of the production.
Constellations will be first performed by Sheila Atim and Ivanno Jeremiah (18th June – 1st August). It will then be performed by Peter Capaldi and Zoë Wanamaker (23rd June – 24th July), then Omari Douglas and Russell Tovey (30th July – 11th September), and finally Anna Maxwell Martin and Chris O’Dowd (6th August – 12th September).
A quantum physicist and a beekeeper meet at a barbeque. They hit it off, or perhaps they don’t. They go home together, or maybe they go their separate ways. In the multiverse, with every possible future ahead of them, a love of honey could make all the difference.
This summer Nick Payne‘s beautiful and heartbreaking romance Constellations is revived in the West End with a twist: four different casts take turns to journey through the multiverse exploring the infinite possibilities of a relationship; each refracting the play afresh.
The creative team for the production includes: designs by Tom Scutt, lighting design by Lee Curran, sound design by David Mcseveney and music by Simon Slater.
