Here’s our guide to six of the most popular West End shows that are on sale now…

Hairspray, London Coliseum: looking for a feel-good show to catch in the West End? Then you won’t want to miss this new revival of this hit musical. Starring Michael Ball, Les Dennis, Marisha Wallace, Lizzie Bea and Rita Simons, this is a show that features memorable songs such as ‘You Can’t Stop the Beat’, ‘Welcome to the 60’s’ and ‘Good Morning Baltimore’.

The Phantom of the Opera, Her Majesty’s Theatre: prepare to welcome back this long running show from July. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical is set to star  double Olivier Award nominee Killian Donnelly as The Phantom, Lucy St. Louis as Christine Daaé and Rhys Whitfield as Raoul when it returns.

Mary Poppins, Prince Edward Theatre: Mary Poppins is set to fly back into the West End from the 7th August, with Zizi Strallen in the title role and Charlie Stemp as Bert. The musical features all the classic songs by the Sherman Brothers as well as new songs by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.

Pretty Woman the Musical, Savoy Theatre: with Moulin Rouge moving into the Piccadilly Theatre, this new musical based on the hit film has moved home to the Savoy Theatre. Having only just opened before lockdown, the musical will see Danny Mac and Aimie Atkinson reprising their roles as Edward and Vivian. The musical features a score by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance.

The Prince of Egypt, Dominion Theatre: this epic musical based on the Dreamworks Animation film is set to resume performances at the Dominion Theatre from next month. Featuring music by Stephen Schwartz, the score includes the hit song ‘When You Believe’.

Come From Away, Phoenix Theatre: this heartwarming musical based on a true story is set to welcome back audiences next month. Having won numerous awards for Best New Musical, it is a real feel good show that celebrates hope, humanity and unity.
