This new exhibition celebrates the 10 years worth of creating the film franchise, taking fans behind the scenes.
Based in Covent Garden, this new exhibition features plenty of behind-the-scene images of the work that went into creating the franchise – focusing on key moments in the films including Harry’s first journey from Platform 9 ¾ all the way through to to the Battle of Hogwarts from the final film in the series.
With Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone celebrating its 20th anniversary since it was released in cinemas, this exhibition is a way to celebrate the beginning of the Harry Potter series on screen through exclusive images never before seen together.
Visitors will also discover areas inspired by the Ministry of Magic and Platform 9 ¾ as well as exploring how the world of Harry Potter has continued through Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Fantastic Beasts.
The experience also features a Butterbeer bar to allow those visiting to enjoy the famous wizard’s choice of drink either in a a souvenir tankard, or take a bottle away to enjoy at home.
Elsewhere, those coming along can experience green screen technology and ride a broomstick over London just like the cast did during filming or step inside a London phone box and pose for a photo transporting yourself into the Ministry of Magic.
The Harry Potter Photographic Exhibition is on display at 45 Wellington Street in Covent Garden
