The production, set to star Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley will play at the Playhouse Theatre transformed into the Kit Kat Club.
Kander and Ebb’s classic musical is set to revived in a new production directed by Rebecca Frecknall playing at a transformed Playhouse Theatre from the 15th November.
The Playhouse Theatre will be reconfigured with an in-the-round auditorium and reimagined spaces, with those attending being allocated a ‘club entry time’ on booking which will allow them to fully explore and experience all parts of the Kit Kat Club and pre-show entertainment. Meanwhile, there will also be three-course, pre-show dining at cabaret tables available, with details of of a £25 ticket lottery, including table seating, due to be announced in September.

Considered to be one of the most successful musicals of all time, Cabaret features a book by Joe Masteroff and is based on the play by John van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood. The musical features music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb and includes songs such as ‘Maybe This Time’, ‘Wilkommen’ and ‘Money’.
The cast for the production is set to be led by Eddie Redmayne (Red in the West End and Broadway, Richard II at Donmar Warehouse) as The Emcee and Jessie Buckley (the National’s Romeo and Juliet, A Little Night Music in the West End, Fargo, Chernobyl) as Sally Bowles.
Meanwhile, the creative team is set to include: set and costume design by Tom Scutt, choreography by Julia Cheng, musical supervision and direction by Jennifer Whyte, sound design by Nick Lidster . The casting director is Stuart Burt and the associate director is Jordan Fein.
Cabaret will begin performances on the 15th November.
