It has been announced that the Olivier Award winning show will be returning to London for five performances.

The Showstoppers will be returning to the West End for a five month residency starting on the 15th November at the Lyric Theatre, following run at the Garrick Theatre.

This show was first seen as part of the Edinburgh Festival, had two West End runs and has won an Olivier Award since it was first seen in 2008.

With over 1000 performances to date, Showstopper! The Improvised Musical! will now play five months of monthly shows for audiences to enjoy.

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical! takes audience suggestions – for setting, musical styles, show title and more to transform it into a completely unique musical, with no two performances ever being the same. So whether it is Hamilton’ on Hampstead Heath or some Sondheim set in a castle, ‘Beetlejuice’ in Boots or Stephen Sondheim set on a submarine – every night is a premiere!

The rotating cast for when the show returns to London includes: Jonathan Ainscough, Ruth Bratt, Justin Brett, Matt Cavendish, Dylan Emery, Pippa Evans, Susan Harrison,Joshua Jackson, Ali James, Sean McCann, Adam Meggido, Philip Pellew, Andrew Pugsley, Lauren Shearing, Lucy Trodd and Heather Urquhart.

Meanwhile, the musicians involved with the show include: Craig Apps, Christopher Ash, Alex Atty, Jordan Clarke, Pete Furness, Nathan Gregory, Calie Hough, Chloe Potter, Duncan Walsh Atkins andAndrew Woolf.

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical was created and directed by Adam Meggido & Dylan Emery, with musical supervision by Duncan Walsh Atkins and movement director Ali James. The creative team also includes: set design by Simon Scullion, costume and prop design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Damian Robertson and sound design by Oscar Thompson.

Showstopper! the Improvised Musical! Will begin performances at the Lyric Theatre from the 15th November.
