Review of Spencer, London Film Festival: we have spent a bit of time this week covering the BFI London Film Festival and that has included attending the screening of this new Princess Diana biopic, starring Kristen Stewart. In our review, we described Stewart’s performance as “a truly remarkable performance”.

Review round up of The Mirror and the Light, Gielgud Theatre: this week saw the official opening of the third stage adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s best-selling trilogy Wolf Hall, which stars Ben Miles and Nathaniel Parker. We rounded up what critics had to say about the production.

Review of Going the Distance: early on in the week we caught the digital production of this new comedy play by Henry Filloux-Bennett and Yasmeen Khan, which follows the story of a community theatre fighting for survival by putting on a play based on The Wizard of Oz. It is streaming until the 17th October.

Review of Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience: also proving popular this week is what we made of this immersive experience that allows visitors to become part of Van Gogh’s work as well as learning more about the artist himself.

Review of The Harder They Fall, BFI London Film Festival: this week saw us attending a screening of the festival’s opening selected film – a gritty Western film starring Jonathan Majors, Regina King and Idris Elba. We also then attended the press conference for the film – check out a selection of videos from that on our YouTube channel.

Review of The Play That Goes Wrong, New Victoria Theatre: this week saw Mischief’s immensely popular show head to Woking as part of its UK tour. In our review we said: “a laugh-out-loud and entertaining experience.”
