The world premiere of Julian Clary’s adaptation of his book The Bolds will play at the Unicorn Theatre from the 14th November.

Full casting has been announced for this world premiere production directed by Lee Lyford, which begins performances at The Unicorn Theatre next month. This stage adaptation will star David Ahmad as Fred Bold, Amanda Gordon as Amelia Bold, Sam Swann as Bobby Bold and Mae Munuo as Betty Bold, Sam Pay as Mr McNumpty, Charity Bedu-Addo as Minnie and Jon Trenchard as Uncle Tony.

The Bolds are just like you and me. They live in an ordinary house in an ordinary street, and they love to laugh. But there’s one slight difference… They’re hyenas!

How long can they keep their beastly secret under their hats? Join Mr and Mrs Bold, Betty and Bobby, as they navigate work, school and friends, all whilst trying to keep up their disguise.

With live music, songs and adventures, this brand new Christmas show revels in the joy of being anything but ordinary.

Julian Clary’s series of six children’s books is a Sunday Times best seller having sold over half a million copies worldwide. This show is suitable for those aged six and above.

The Bolds will play at The Unicorn Theatre from the 14th November until the 31st December.
