Peaky Blinders: The Rise: love the BBC programme? Sad that the series is coming to an end? Then fret not! As a new way to immerse yourself in the dangerous world created by the BBC as this new experience opens at The Vanguard Theatre in Camden in the Summer 2022. While full details have yet to be revealed, those attending can expect to follow in the changing fortunes of Tommy Shelby and his family – with plenty of familiar sights along the way.
Bridgerton: Secret Cinema: another huge hit of a television programme, this new experience created in association with Fever will see guests attending a ball filled with dancing – and of course scandalous secrets just waiting to be exposed! Those attending will be able to dance along to re-imagined pop classics performed by a string quartet just like in the hit show or life drawing and a boxing club for those wanting something a bit more active. There will also be refreshments available and plenty of opportunity to explore “the hidden parts of the grounds with life-drawing rooms, duelling practice, games of chance, and secret encounters away from prying eyes”.
The Gunpowder Plot Experience: for those in search of immersing themselves in a part of history will definitely want to check out this new experience when it heads to the Tower Hill Vaults later this year! For 88 dates only, between the 6th May to the 4th September 2022, people will be able to journey back in time and experience London as it was in 1605. It is set to combine live theatre and the latest digital technology to transport visitors to the heart of a story in which they are the protagonist….
The Great Gatsby: in the mood for a party? Well then why not jump back to the 1920’s and experience Jay Gatsby’s story first hand? This immersive theatrical experience invites you to let your hair down, interact with the characters and pick up some new dance moves along the way! Check out our review here.
The Burnt City, Punchdrunk: hooray! Punchdrunk are returning to London with a brand new immersive theatrical show that is inspired by the fall of Troy and will be taking place in the company’s new home in Woolwich Arsenal – taking over three Grade II Listed Buildings as part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s new creative district, Woolwich Works.
