NEWS: Full Cast Announced for Kiln Theatre’s Production of Black Love

The production will see the theatre transformed into the round and opening the venue’s 2022 season.

The Kiln Theatre has announced full casting for its upcoming production of Chinonyerem Odimba’s Black Love, heading to the venue from the 28th March until the 23rd April.

Directed by Chinonyerem Odimba, the production arrives in London following  successful tour as part of Paines Plough’s Roundabout season last year and is set to star Nathan Queeley-Dennis who reprises the role of Orion, Nicholle Cherrie as Roo and Beth Elliott as Lois – who join the company for the run at Kiln Theatre.

Meet Aurora and Orion. Sister and brother. Constellations in time. More than blood. More than just fam.

Inside their small London flat, memories of their parents’ Black love surrounds them. When that love is threatened, they must first find understanding and connection before they can begin to find a way back to one another.

The production features music by Ben and Max Ringham, designs by Richard Kent, lighting by Richard Howell, sound design by Joel Price, video design by Gillian Tan and musical direction by Candida Caldicot.

Black Love will play at the Kiln Theatre from the 28th March until the 23rd April.
