NEWS: Casting Announced for Legally Blonde at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre

The new production of the musical is set to begin performances at the theatre from the 13th May.

Principle casting and creative team have been confirmed for the upcoming production of the musical which will open the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s 2022 season in May.

This new production, directed by Lucy Moss (co-director and co-writer of Six), is set to star Courtney Bowman (Six, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) as Elle Woods, Michael Ahomka-Lindsay (Emmett), Lauren Drew (Brooke), Vanessa Fisher (Vivienne), Isaac Hesketh (Margot), Nadine Higgin (Paulette), Alžbeta Matyšáková (Enid), Eugene McCoy (Callahan), Grace Mouat (Pilar), Alistair Toovey (Warner), and Hannah Yun Chamberlain (Serena). Full casting will be announced soon.

The musical, based on the hit film, features music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach. It follows the story of Elle Woods who embarks on on an ambitious plan to go to Harvard university, after she is dumped by her boyfriend Warner who was looking for a ‘more serious’ girlfriend. But while trying to win him back, she discovers that there is more to herself then she and other people realised.

Legally Blonde will run at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre from the 13th May until the 2nd July.
