Katie Redford’s play will make its debut at Theatre503 from the 5th to the 23rd April.

Bethany Cooper Productions has announced full casting for the world premiere of Katie Redford’s play Tapped, beginning performances at Theatre503 next month. It has been confirmed that Jennifer Daley will play Dawn alongside Olivia Sweeney as Jen and Max Hastings as Gavi.

Gavi wants to inspire his community. Which is tricky when everyone would prefer to just stay at home and watch Bake Off. Adamant to succeed, he starts hosting motivational meetings from his garage for his fellow Co-op colleagues. With the help of daily mantras, goal setting and repeatedly listening to Spandau Ballet, he believes he can change their lives for the better. However, when the only two attendees are bickering mother and daughter Dawn and Jen, it’s not quite the enlightening experience they all thought it would be. Dawn wants more from life, Jen wants a brand new life and Gavi just wants Jen in his life; but there’s only so much ‘positive visualisation’ they can all do before simply facing up to the painful reality of what’s really going on.

As well as being performed at Theatre503 for live audiences, Piers Black’s production will also be live-captured and will stream on the 26th April.

The creative team behind the production includes: Designer Ceci Calf; Lighting Designer Lucía Sánchez Roldán, Music and Sound Designer: Conrad Kira; Casting Director Amy Jane Blair; Assistant Producer Hadeel Elshak; Movement Director Kloe Dean; Stage Manager Laura Whittle; Graphic Designer Madison Coby and Production Manager Zara Janmohamed.

Tapped will play at Theatre503 from the 5th to the 23rd April.
