The new film, starring Samantha Barks and Ramin Karimloo is heading to cinemas in September.

It has been announced that the new film based on the off-Broadway musical directed by Nick Winston is set to be released in cinemas on the 9th September and on DVD on the 17th October.

In this timeless universal love story, the clock ticks down to two monumental days in the life of Bill and Catherine. Two perspectives of one story collide across time, seen in parallel yet ten years apart: on the eve of their wedding, as they embark on life together while coping with a life-changing event, and after a decade of marriage as they wrestle with the impact of their divorce on life with their young son.

The new film adaptation features exclusive new music and lyrics from the show’s original composer Laurence Mark Wythe. Meanwhile the cast includes West End and Broadway stars, Samantha Barks (Frozen The Musical, Les Misérables) and Olivier Award nominee Ramin Karimloo (Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera) who headline a superb ensemble cast, with Dame Joan Collins (Dynasty), Omid Djalili (The Mummy, The Infidel), Henry Goodman (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Taking Woodstock), Harriet Thorpe (Calendar Girls, Absolutely Fabulous), Anita Dobson (Hotel Babylon, EastEnders) and The X Factor’s Fleur East completing the star-studded line-up.
