They are joined by leading creatives including co-writer of Six Toby Marlow, Heathers choreographer Gary Lloyd and Rent choreographer Tom Jackson Greaves.

Bringing thousands of musical theatre fans together across a weekend, Musical Con will give fans the opportunity to meet the stars, celebrate the shows, and learn from the pros. A full schedule and more special guests have yet to be announced – including show spotlights, previews of new shows, cast reunions, discussion panels, Q&As and unique performances.

So far many musical theatre fans have submitted entries to the cosplay competition, Star Of Musical Con talent search and Lip Sync Battle. There will also be a Theatreland featuring photo opportunities with a number of West End shows, a marketplace full of stalls and exhibitors from all facets of the world of musical theatre.

Talking about Musical Con, Co-founder of West End Musical Productions Chris Steward said: “We wanted to create an event that would bring the whole community together under one roof for the first time. To celebrate the shows, the stars and the creatives that make the magic happen, but also to celebrate each other. Without an audience, there can be no theatre. This is for the fans.”
