Lilly’s Café has launched its special Winter Terrace in its Covent Garden location.
Lilly’s Café has now officially launched its Winter Terrace for guests to enjoy during their visit, complete with a brand-new fondue and hot cocktail menu.
Those visiting can cosy up on heated seats and plentiful blankets, while taking in the festive lights surrounding Covent Garden and enjoy the terrace’s wintery archway and hanging baskets after a busy day of visiting London.
Meanwhile, owner, former Claridge’s executive pastry chef, Kimberley Lin, has created an indulgent Lilly’s Swiss Gruyere Fondue available on the outside terrace. Lilly’s fondue is everything you want from a melted pot of delicious cheese, made up of a gooey blend of Swiss Gruyere Cheese, Swiss Emmenthal, White Wine, and a touch of Brandy and served with cubes of bread and warm new potatoes (£25).
Meanwhile, while enjoying the fondue enjoy either a special cocktail or two, created especially for the festive season. This includes Lilly’s Mulled Wine (£12) made from Zinfandel wine, maple and brandy with winter spices, fresh orange and berries expects to become a winter staple, whilst the Amaretto Coffee (£13) made with coffee, coffee liquor and topped with caramel cream provides that bittersweet caffeine hit perfect for this time of year. If you prefer your cocktail refreshing and sparkling, the Sleigh Ride (£14) keeps it suitably festive with Cognac, Cointreau, Orange, and Cranberry Juice topped with Champagne then garnished with rosemary (£14).
Lilly’s regular menu which celebrates the use of natural and globally inspired food, together with expectational desserts and cakes from Kimberly Lin can also be enjoyed on the outside terrace.
