The production is set to head to the Vivian Beaumont Theater in 2023.

The Lincoln Center Theater has announced initial casting for its upcoming Broadway revival of Lerner and Loewe’s musical, which will begin performances at the he Vivian Beaumont Theater on the 9th March 2023 ahead of official opening on the 13th April.

The cast will star Tony winner Andrew Burnap (The Inheritance) as Arthur, Tony nominee Phillipa Soo (Hamilton) as Guenevere, and Jordan Donica (My Fair Lady) as Lancelot Du Lac. Further casting will be announced in due course.

Based on The Once and Future King by T H White, Camelot was the follow up to Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady and features songs such as “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “The Lusty Month of May,” and the title song “Camelot.” This revival of the musical will feature a new book by Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin (To Kill a Mockingbird) and direction by Tony winner Bartlett Sher.

The musical originally ran on Broadway in 1960, directed by Moss Hart and starred Julie Andrews and Richard Burton. It ran on Broadway for 873 performances, going on to win four Tony Awards.  

Further details of the revival have yet to be confirmed.
