NEWS: Full Casting Announced for Once – in Concert

The musical will return to London for two performances only at the London Palladium in March.

Full casting has been announced for Once – In Concert, heading to the London Palladium for two performances only on the 12th March 2023 (3pm and 7pm). There are now only limited amount of tickets left for the performances.

Joining the previously announced Carrie Hope Fletcher (Heathers, Cinderella, Les Misérables) and Jamie Muscato (Heathers, Bend It Like Beckham, The Undeclared War) will be: Phil Adèle as ‘Eamon’ (The Lion King London), Kamilla Gregorovitch as ‘Reza’ (The Grammar of Witchcraft, Camden Fringe Festival), Seán Keany as ‘Billy’ (Choir of Man London, Once The Musical UK Tour), Alasdair Macrae as ‘Da’ (The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart at NTS), Loris Scarpa as ‘Svec’  (Rapunzel The Watermill Theatre), Jos Slovick as ‘Andrej’ (Beautiful UK Tour, Brief Encounter London), Christina Tedders as ‘Ex-Girlfriend’ (The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe London, Dick Whittington and his Cat, Hackney Empire), Angus Tikka as ‘Bank Manager’, Susannah Van Den Berg as ‘Barushka’ (101 Dalmatians Regent’s Park, Bedknobs and Broomsticks UK Tour, Baruska in Once UK Tour) and Michael Vien as ‘Emcee’ (making his professional debut). Tabitha Storton will play Ivonka at the matinee show and Mia Raggio will take the role at the evening performance.

Having won eight Tony Awards the musical tells the unforgettable story of a Dublin street musician and a beautiful and quirky Czech woman, drawn together by their shared love of music. Over the course of one fateful week, as they assemble a band from her wild family and his unconventional mates, the music flows and they slowly fall in love.

Featuring all the magical songs from the smash-hit film, including the Oscar-winning “Falling Slowly,” the musical is adapted from the hit film and features  book by Enda Walsh with music and lyrics by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová. This concert production is directed by Dean Johnson with musical direction by Adam Hoskins. It is being produced by Lambert Jackson and Positive Sum Productions.
