NEWS: The Lumineers Announce Special Guests Joining New World Tour

The new tour to celebrate the release of the group’s fourth studio album Brightside will see the group performing at Crystal Palace Park on the 8th July.

The Lumineers have today announced a number of acts who are set to join them or their biggest ever UK headline show at Crystal Palace Park in July. Rag‘n’Bone Man, Ella Henderson, Billie Marten and David Kushner will all join the two time GRAMMY nominated band, with tickets for the show on sale now here.

The Brightside World Tour celebrates The Lumineers’ fourth studio album of the same name, which is available now via Decca Records. It includes songs such as “A.M Radio”, “Big Shot” and “Where we Are”.

Vocalist/guitarist Wesley Schultz and percussionist/pianist Jeremiah Fraites formed the group in 2005 and broke through on the global music scene with their platinum-selling self-titled debut album and hit single “Ho Hey”, which went on to top charts around the world.

Rag‘n’Bone Man’s latest studio album Life By Misadventure was released in 2021 and includes the tracks ‘Anywhere Away From Here’ (with P!nk) and fan-favourite ‘All You Ever Wanted’. He is also known for songs such as ‘Human’, ‘Skin’ and ‘Giant’ (with Calvin Harris).

Also performing will be Ella Henderson, who first came into the music scene 11 years ago with no. 1 debut single ‘Ghost’ and album Chapter One and has to date had seven UK number one singles. The line-up also includes UK singer-songwriter Billie Marten. Hailing from north Yorkshire, Marten captured the country’s attention with a performance on YouTube and went on to release her first EP at the age of 15. Her forthcoming album Drop Cherries is set to be released this Spring. David Kushner is an American singer and songwriter who gained global recognition when song ‘Miserable Man’ went viral on TikTok in 2022.

The event is one of a series of events being hosted at Crystal Palace Park – the original home of outdoor live music in South London – by Festival Republic this summer, with more set to be announced. The site is steeped in musical history – having a 60+ year heritage of live music and hosted legends such as Pink Floyd and Bob Marley.
