NEWS: Casting Announced for Gilbert & Sullivan’s Rudigore at Wilton’s Music Hall

The production will run at the venue from the 14th to the 25th March.

Oracle Productions have announced the cast joining director Peter Benedict’s production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s Ruddigore, also known as The Witches Curse at Wilton’s Music Hall from the 14th to the 25th March.

Peter will also be taking on the role of wicked Baronet Sir Despard Murgatroyd of Ruddigore! Watch out!  Peter’s West End credits include: Ithamore in The Jew of Malta (Donmar); Ascyltus in Satyricon (Phoenix & Off-Broadway transfer); Wonse in Terry Pratchett’s Guards! Guards! and Malvolio in Twelfth Night (UK Tours).  TV includes: A Touch of Frost; I, Claudius; Eastenders; ChuckleVision, and Film: Rise of the Footsoldier II. Rosemary Ashe is cast as Dame Hannah with Graham Stone  who will play Old Adam Goodheart, Charli Baptie as Mad Margaret, Kieran Parrott as Richard Dauntless, Joe Winter as Sir Ruthven Murgatroyd, Madeline Robinson as Rose Maybud, Max Panks as Thomas,  Edward Watchman, Ellie Sayles (Zorah), Rosie Weston will play Ruth, Steve Watts is Sir Roderic Murgatroyd and Luca Kocsmárszky as Mme Von Palmay and Guest Violinist.

A family curse means a baronet must commit a crime every day or perish. In trying to escape his fate, he encounters dancing sailors, a bunch of frustrated bridesmaids and a chorus of ghosts. What could possibly go wrong?

The creative team behind the production includes: musical supervision by Richard Baker, choreography by  Adam Haigh, designs by David Shields lighting design by Alistair Lindsay and video by Tom Fitch.
