Love London Love Culture’s Afternoon Tea Picks for Mother’s Day 2023

Why not treat your mum to a special afternoon tea in London this Mother’s Day? Here’s a few suggestions from us to you!

Milestone Afternoon Tea: placed at the heart of Kensington, treat your mum to a special afternoon tea filled with a range of treats including Mrs T’s Baked Vanilla Cheesecake, Pear & Speculoos Choux Bun as well as a range of sandwiches and scones – complete with Cornish Clotted Cream & Homemade Strawberry Jam of course! As well as a traditional afternoon tea, you can also opt for the champagne, royal afternoon tea or the royal rose afternoon tea!

Traditional Afternoon Tea for two at Harrods Tea Rooms: why not make a proper afternoon of it by treating you mum to an afternoon of shopping (or browsing) ahead of enjoying a range of indulgent treats including: a summer fruit tart and the Harrods signature (N o.14 Breakfast tea chocolate mousse, caramel milk jam, panna cotta, chocolate sponge, crumble base), while enjoying one of the selection of teas available.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea at Hotel Xenia: available on the 18th and 19th March, this afternoon tea includes a mix of homemade buns as well as cakes and scones including chocolate mousse with raspberry tiramisu and fresh strawberry filled with chantilly cream cheesecake with strawberry pistachio tart. Served from 2:30pm-5:30pm, it is £44 per person with a glass of prosecco or £49 per person with a glass of champagne.

Fortnum & Mason Afternoon Tea for two: why not take your mum to this well known London store, where you can not only browse the numerous departments but you can also sit down and an d enjoy afternoon tea in its Tea Salon, which was opened HM The Queen. The experience includes:Champagne afternoon tea for two at Fortnum & Mason, with Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free menus available and a a selection of teas to choose from!

A Tribute to Nature – Mother’s Day edition at the The Carlton Tower Jumeirah: available from the 17th to the 19th March, this specially created afternoon tea by acclaimed Pastry Chef Jessica Préalpato and will include desserts such as Finger chocolate hazelnut & star anis (Cocoa nibs crunchy base, chocolate sponge, Madong chocolate cremeux, whipped
ganache & star anis praline) and savouries such as Home-cured salmon, roasted pine nut cream cheese, pink peppercorn, dill & lemon sandwiches.
