The musical will run at The Other Palace from the 28th September until the 15th October.

Casting has today been announced for the musical which sees the worlds of cabaret, queer theatre and politics collide and inspired by famous surrealist pieces of art such as The Escherian Stairwell, Magritte’s apples and Salvador Dali’s melting clocks.
Written by Henry Parkman Biggs and directed by Blair Anderson, the cast will include: Emer Dineen (Trump), Alex Wadham (RIP), Craig Bartley (Chateau LaFitte), Dominic Booth (Demi), Olivia Saunders (Ivanka), Sarah Louise Hughes (The Imitator), William Elijah Lewis (Ensemble) and Yasmin Sharp (Ensemble).
Trump L’Oeil takes inspiration from a wide range of musical genres and its songs contain cryptic and hidden messages, pushing lyrical structure in ways that make the songs themselves illusionary.
The musical heads to The Other Palace following a successful runs on Off-Broadway in 2021, a London fringe run in 2022 and a spring presentation at Paris’ famed Fluctuart gallery on the Seine, which featured renditions from artists around the world of the uniquely structured “trompe l’oeil” lyrics.
The creative team behind the musical includes: Musical Director Georgia Rawlins, Musical Supervisor/Arranger Mark Crossland, Associate Musical Supervisor Laurence Stannard, Choreographer Blair Anderson, Associate Choreographer Thomas Ashton, Choreographer Producer Funky Tickle Productions and General Management Carter Dixon McGill.
