The production will begin performances at the Arcola Theatre on the 4th October.

The full cast has been confirmed for the upcoming world premiere of Matt Pravin’s Gentlemen at the Arcola Theatre from the 4th until the 28th October. This three hander will feature performances from Charlie Beck (Masters of the Air Apple TV, The Breach Hampstead Theatre), Edward Judge (Manor National Theatre, The Play That Goes Wrong West End & tour), and Issam Al Ghussain (King Lear and Macbeth The Globe).

Freshers’ term. Greg has taken to university life like a duck to water. Kasper is struggling to fit in.

Summoned to a mediation session with Kasper and the college welfare officer to discuss an accusation of plagiarism, Greg deftly argues his way out of trouble. But when the allegations evolve into something altogether more damaging, how long can Greg remain untouchable?

Gentlemen examines what happens when culture turns toxic, and how a fear of not fitting in risks everyone losing out.

Speaking about the news, director Richard Speir says “This cast might as well have been lab-grown for the show. With a wonderful blend of youth, experience and sharp wit, I couldn’t wish for better actors to bring Matt’s piece to life. I’m certain we’ll be seeing these names regularly in future and I’m excited to start rehearsals today.”
