Wicked Afternoon Tea, The Clermont: if you love Wicked the musical, then you will not want to miss experiencing this special themed afternoon tea. Sit back and relax in the The Tea Lounge at The Clermont, whilst enjoying a wickedly decadent menu which includes: chocolate & pistachio bomb, lemon meringue pie and lime cheesecake. Special occasion? Then upgrade for an additional £10 for a glass of fizz, choosing from The Wicked – Hendrick’s gin, kiwi puree, cucumber syrup, top-up with sparkling wine or The Good – Chambord, raspberry liqueur, strawberry liqueur, top-up with sparkling wine.

Macbeth Afternoon Tea, The Swan at The Globe: pay a visit to The Swan to enjoy an afternoon tea inspired by Shakespeare’s tragedy, with a vegetarian and a vegan tea are available too as a savoury Scottish Gentlemen’s Tea. Treats on the menu include: Scottish whiskey and orange curd filled macarons complete with a golden crown, dark chocolate mousse with ginger caviar bubbles in a cauldron and sticky toffee cupcakes topped with fondant ‘bloody hands’.

Charlie & the Chocolate Factory themed afternoon tea at One Aldwych: enter a world of pure imagination with this specially themed afternoon tea – ideal for fans of both the book and stage adaptation. Served Wednesday to Friday from 12pm – 3pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12pm – 4pm, the menu includes treats such as fizzy lifting lemonade posset, caramel chocolate milkshake and a choice of selection of teas such as chocolate noir and caramel noir. Vegan, vegetarian and children menus are also available.

Regency afternoon tea at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane: enjoy a sophisticated afternoon tea at the heart of the West End at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in the Grand Saloon. The sweet additions to the menu have been created by by celebrity baker Lily Vanilli, while the savoury bites are all made by the Lane’s chefs. and includes: madeleines topped with whipped English feta and pickled heritage carrot, Coronation chicken pie with caramelised onion chutney and a bite sized crumpet with John Ross Jr smoked salmon and Earl Grey infused cream cheese. Warm scones will be brought to the table with cream and homemade jam while you sip on Rare Tea Company teas and Taittinger champagne.
