The Fierylight & Little Angel Theatre co-production will play at the St Martin’s Theatre from the 2nd December until the 7th January 2024.

Full casting has now been announced for Samantha Lane’s production of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s children’s story, playing in the West End this Christmas.

With the puppeteers from the tour continuing their roles, Duane Gooden will play the titular Giant with James Keningale, Nix Wood and Nick Wray playing multiple roles.

George wishes he wasn’t the scruffiest giant in town. So when he sees a new shop selling giant-sized clothes, he decides it’s time for a new look: smart trousers, smart shirt, stripy tie, shiny shoes. Now he’s the smartest giant in town . . . until he bumps into some animals who desperately need his help – and his clothes!

Nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Family Show, the production has just completed a successful UK tour and will play in the heart of the West End from the 2nd December until the 7th January.

As well as being directed by Little Angel artistic director Samantha Lane, the production features music composed by Barb Jungr, set and costume design by Kate Bunce, lighting design by Sherry Coenen and puppet design by Judith Hope.
