The play will begin performances at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre from the 1st April and officially opening on the 22nd April.

It has been announced that theatre, film, and television actor Michael Stuhlbarg will return to the Broadway stage for the first time in nearly 20 years to star in the Broadway production of Patriots by Peter Morgan (The Crown). He will be joined by original London cast members Will Keen who will recreate his Olivier Award-winning performance as Vladimir Putin and Luke Thallon (Evening Standard Award nominee for the Almeida’s Albion) as Russian oligarch and politician Roman Abramovich.
Michael Stuhlbarg was last seen on Broadway in The Pillowman in 2005, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award. His other credits include his breakthrough role in Joel and Ethan Coen’s film A Serious Man, Blue Jasmine and Boardwalk Empire.
Directed by Almeida Artistic Director Rupert Goold, the play first premiered at the Almeida Theatre in 2022, before having a West End run at the Noel Coward theatre last year.
