The concert, which was performed live at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in December is coming to cinemas on the 14th and 18th February.

New production images from My Favorite Things has been released to celebrate the concert being shown in cinemas next week. In addition to the images, the Rodgers and Hammerstein organisation have released a clip of the cast of the concert performing ‘Edelweiss’.

As well as featuring a 40-piece orchestra conducted by Simon Lee, the concert included performances from top West End and Broadway talent including: Joanna Ampil, Michael Ball, Maria Friedman, Daniel Dae Kim, Audra McDonald, Julian Ovenden, Lucy St. Louis, Aaron Tveit, Marisha Wallace and Patrick Wilson.

This special anniversary concert was directed and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli (Broadway’s The King and I, South Pacific) and featured many classic songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s career including songs from Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, Cinderella and The Sound of Music. The event also included special appearances from Chita Rivera, Maria Friedman and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
