We chatted to the director about taking James Bond Concert Spectacular back out on tour.
Hi Warren, what can audiences expect from the James Bond Concert
Spectacular? A night of adrenaline and passion filled performances of some of the greatest music ever written for film, performed by some of the top musicians and singers in the UK!
How does it feel to be taking the concert back out on tour? It’s amazing, as we love what we do. As Bond fans, to be out there meeting and engaging with fellow Bond fans is what it is all about! We thrive on giving Bond fans what we know they want!
What do you think it is about the music from James Bond is so appealing?
I think everyone has their own reasons, but for most, there is an emotional and
generational connection, usually to family, childhood or just fond memories of days
when a family would sit down and watch a Bond film together. The music played
such a fundamental role in that enjoyment, with it often being a character in its own
right a lot of the time. You can hum a tune from the Bond films and readily as recite
one of the many iconic lines, and with the music covering such a broad range of
styles and genres, there is something for everyone!
How would you describe the show? It’s a place for James Bond fans to come and mingle with like-minded fans, and enjoy incredible music, performed with the most authentic and genuine love for the films you will ever experience. The show is extremely polished and slick, and the attention to detail is second to none! It’s fun, awe-inspiring, spine-tingling and emotional!
What do you hope that audiences take away from the show? Well I’m confident they will come away feeling the love of Bond, feeling energised and pumped up on adrenaline, and it will make them want to go home and immediately fire up their favourite Bond film!
What are you most looking forward to about taking the show back out on tour?
Meeting more Bond fans and sharing our passion for Bond with them!
