The latest in Rhian Johnson’s murder mystery series is set to head to Netflix in 2025.
Initial casting has been confirmed for the upcoming new film, written and directed by Rhian Johnson titled Wake Up Dead Man.
Joining Daniel Craig as the sleuth Benoit Blanc will be Josh O’Connor (Netflix’s The Crown), Cailee Spaeny (Golden Globe nominated for her role as Priscilla Presley Sofia Coppola’s biopic) and Andrew Scott (Ripley, Sherlock Holmes, Fleabag).
While details with regards to the plot have yet to be announced, production for the film is set to begin soon with further details of the cast also to be confirmed.
The first film in the series was released in 2019, with the second Glass Onion released in 2022.
This latest film was announced by Rhian Johnson via social media and is being released by Netflix as part of Rian Johnson’s two-sequel deal set to be worth $450 million.
