Find a new exhibition to explore in London with our picks….

Zanele Muhololi ,Tate Modern: from the 6th June, the Tate Modern presents a major UK survey of the photographer’s work, who describes themself as a visual activist. During this exhibition, it will display some of the key pieces of their series of work and is based on the artist’s 2020-21 exhibition at Tate Modern and will include new works produced since then.
Roger Mayen: Youth, Courtauld Gallery: the photographer was well-known for his documentary images of young people growing-up in Britain in the mid-1950s and ‘60s. On display from the 14th June, the exhibition features 60 almost exclusively vintage photographs and is the the first display of his work since 2017.
Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Wives, National Portrait Gallery: this new exhibition will take a look at the way in which the infamous king’s wives have been portrayed throughout history and popular culture. It will combine the Tudor portraiture of Hans Holbein the Younger and contemporary photography by Hiroshi Sugimoto to try and uncover the truth of their lives. It will be on display from the 20th June until the 8th September.
Summer Exhibition 2024, Royal Academy of Arts: from the 18th June until the 18th August, visitors to the Royal Academy of Arts can immerse themselves in the work by famous artists and members of the public. Featuring art and architecture, the exhibition will fill the galleries, into the courtyard and beyond!
Anthony McCall, Tate Modern: this exhibition will rely on the movements and interactions of visitors to bring artworks to life inside Solid Light, a focused exhibition dedicated to the immersive works of the artist. It will be on display from the 27th June 2024 until the 27th April 2025.
Yoshida: Three Generations of Japanese Printmaking, Dulwich Picture Gallery: the Dulwich Picture Gallery will bring together artworks by the Yoshida family, a Japanese artistic dynasty including Yoshida Hiroshi, Fujio, Tōshi, Hodaka Chizuko and Ayomi. It will be displayed from the 19th June until the 3rd November.
