The latest Wallace & Gromit film will be released via BBC and Netflix this winter.
The infamous Feathers McGraw is set to cause trouble for Wallace & Gromit on his release from prison in a new film that will follow the penguin’s (who disguised himself as a chicken with a red rubber glove to make him look as a chicken in the 1993 short The Wrong Trousers) adventures as he seeks revenge on the beloved characters.
This news follows Feathers McGraw’s cameo appearance at the end of Chicken Run; Dawn of the Nugget.
Vengeance Most Fowl will see Ben Whitehead reprising the role of the eccentric and cheese-loving inventor Wallace, having taken over the role from the late Last of the Summer Wine actor Peter Sallis.
In additions, Peter Kay will reprise his role from The Curse of the Were-Rabbit – PC Mackintosh, with Reece Shearsmith and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie actor Lauren Patel joining the cast.
Other cameos in the film include Motherland actor and comedian Diane Morgan, the Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh and the comedian and actor Lenny Henry.
Talking about the return of Feather McGraw, Nick Park (creator of Wallace & Gromit) said: “The single most asked question I get when I meet fans is, will the penguin Feathers McGraw, Wallace and Gromit’s original antagonist from The Wrong Trousers thirty years ago, ever return? We’ve had fun bringing him back in cameo capacities but now, three decades on, it felt like the right time.”
