The film is set to be released on Prime Video the 4th July.
A new trailer and first look images have been released for Space Cadet, the new film starring Emma Roberts and set for release on the streaming platform next month.
Directed and written by Liz W. Garcia, the film follows Tiffany “Rex” Simpson who has always dreamed about going to space but life took her in a very different direction. But soon a fluke sees her being accepted into NASA’s ultra-competitive astronaut training programme. But will she get through the training and into space?
As well as Emma Roberts, the film also stars: Poppy Liu (Hacks), Gabrielle Union (The Inspection), Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy), Colombian pop star Sebastián Yatra, David Foley (The Kids in the Hall), and Desi Lydic (Awkward). Additional casting includes Kuhoo Verma (Plan B), Yasha Jackson (The Flight Attendant), Troy Iwata (Dash & Lily), Andrew Call (Z: The Beginning of Everything), and Josephine Huang.
The film is produced by Greg Silverman and Jon Berg on behalf of Stampede Ventures, with Stampede’s Gideon Yu and Chris Bosco executively producing alongside Roberts, Garcia, and Michael Tadross.
