The news comes as the group continue to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
It has been confirmed that the classical crossover group will release a new live album, recorded at the Taipei Music Center in Taiwan as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations.
Set to be released on the 13th September, XX Live from Taipei will showcase what the quartet (formed of Urs Bühler, Sébastien Izambard, David Miller and new member Steven LaBrie) are known to do best and includes a mixture of pop classics and traditional standards.
Featured songs on the album and DVD include: “Crazy,” “Passerà,” “Nella Fantasia,” “Melanconia,” “Senza Catene,” “Perfect,” “Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti,” “Bésame Mucho,” “Abrázame,” “Quizás Quizás Quizás,” “You Raise Me Up,” “Mama,” “Adagio,” “The Power of Love,” “No Tengo Nada,” “My Way,” “Regresa a Mí” and “Time To Say Goodbye.”
Within the film, and complementing the music, Il Divo also document aspects of the first 20 years of their career, set against the modern cosmopolitan metropolis of Taipei, as they take viewers through the journey so far and future aspirations.
Presented in 4k video and 5.1 audio (on Blu-Ray Disc), fans will also be able to enjoy bonus tracks; “Wicked Game (Melanconia)”, “You Raise Me Up (Por Ti Sere)”, plus bonus content; Interview, Behind the Scenes, and Trailer.
Since 2004, the group have sold 30 million-plus units worldwide, scored 50 #1 hits, and earned 160 Gold and Platinum records across 35 countries.
