The new hotel will have a soft launch at the end of the month.

Based in West Brompton, this new hotel is co-branded by Mercure and ibis property, following a multi-million pound refurbishment over the last year.
Merging two of Accor’s two brands into one building, the hotel will feature 226 ibis rooms and 282 Mercure rooms. Additional rooms under the Mercure brand will be added later this year, while the project is expected to be completed in early 2025.

The hotel will also feature a brand new restaurant named Barnaby’s, as well as a well-appointed meeting space by Mercure.
At 12 storeys tall, Mercure and ibis London Earls Court Hotel will offer fantastic views of London.
The Mercure rooms will feature a ‘Layers of Time’ theme having been inspired by the iconic Tardis of Doctor Who, which stands in front of nearby Earl’s Court station. The rooms are also inspired by local culture with a minimalistic design. The hotel will also feature a range of renovated room types under the ibis brand to cater for families and any travellers’ needs. All of the spacious and comfortable guest rooms will be en-suite and equipped with environmentally friendly air-cooling.

Barnaby’s, the on-site restaurant and bar, has been designed in collaboration with Paris Society. Central to the theme is the character of Barnaby, who returns to London to enjoy his 60s at home after spending many years adventuring abroad and discovering the world.
The restaurant will provide home dining with a twist. Signature dishes on the menu will include: Barnaby’s Chorizo Roll, Spiced Fish Pie and Limoncello Caprese. Meanwhile, the bar menu will include classic cocktails from around the world twisted with local touches.

Situated in the districts of Fulham and Chelsea, the hotel is a great base for anyone seeking to explore everything that London has to offer. Attractions such as Kew Gardens, events at Olympia, the Natural History Museum and Harrods are located close by.
Meanwhile, for sporting fans the hotel is within a short distance of Wimbledon, Twickenham, Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge, and Fulham’s Craven Cottage.
David Hayden, General Manager at Mercure and ibis London Earls Court Hotel, said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome visitors to experience our property and to enjoy a home away from home. The multi-million-pound redevelopment underlines our commitment to providing exceptional experiences for all of our guests. We are delighted to offer an affordable yet comfortable hotel to those visiting London who can benefit from our excellent location, close proximity to some of the city’s most popular attractions and outstanding transport links.”
