The duo’s latest album is set to be released on the 8th November.
It has been confirmed that Michael Ball and Alfie are set to release their sixth album together ‘Together at Home’ this November as well as embark on an arena tour in March and April next year.
Marking the 10th year in which the pair have been making music together, this album pays homage to the people and places that mean the most to them. The first track to be released from the album is ‘Proud’ – their take on the 2000 debut solo single from former M People singer Heather Small.
Explaining the reasons for wanting to record this song, Michael Ball said: “It’s a song that was used for the 2012 London Olympics, and this summer I went to the Paris Olympics to watch Grace, my granddaughter, playing in the rugby sevens with Team GB. There’s me and [my partner] Cathy [McGowan] sat in the Stade de France, 66,000 people. On she runs and genuinely, I’ve never felt so proud in my life – or as nervous! And when she scored a try, and there’s her name up on the scoreboard, it was wonderful. The heart-bursting pride Cath and I both felt – incredible!”
Alfie Boe added “We’re proud of where we’re from. Proud of this country, of being British and welcoming people home. And welcoming people into our home, is something that I think is important.”
Together at Home follows the success of the duo’s previous five duet albums. Their debut Together, became the UK’s best-selling album of 2016, beating The Rolling Stones to the Christmas No.1 spot.

The news of the album and tour arrive as they prepare to star in Cameron Mackintosh’s new Les Miserables The Arena Spectacular.
Presales for Ball & Boe’s UK tour will start Tuesday 10 September 2024 at 10am local time and will continue throughout the week with general on sale starting from Friday 13th September 2024 at 10am.
