The production of the new play will begin performances at the MAST Mayflower Southampton from the 20th March 2025.

It has been announced that Spitfire Girls, the brand new play from Katherine Senior will have its premiere in 2025 , visiting 11 venues across the UK until the 31st May.
Decades after answering the call, two women separated by the war meet again as the rain hammers down on the windows of The Spitfire pub.
As we hear their story, we’re transported back to a time when female pioneers defied expectations and soared through the skies.
Spitfire Girls is inspired by the extraordinary true stories of the women who dared to fly during WWII and the incredible bond that tied them together.
The production will mark the 80th anniversary year of the end of World War II and has been developed with support from the National Theatre Generate Programme. It is set to be directed by Seán Aydon with design by Sarah Beaton.
It will also feature lighting by Peter Small, original music composed by Eamonn O’Dwyer and is being presented by Tilted Wig Productions.
