The production will begin performances at the Islington based theatre from the 10th December running until the 1st February.

Rehearsal images have now been released for Rebecca Frecknall’s latest production at the Almeida Theatre which will begin performances next month.
This new production of Tennessee Williams’s play will star: Kingsley Ben-Adir, Guy Burgess (The Lavender Hill Mob), Clare Burt, Seb Carrington (Summer and Smoke), Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar-Jones, Derek Hagen (The View UpStairs), Lennie James (A Number, Mufasa), Ukweli Roach (Nightfall) and Ria Zmitrowicz (Sherwood, The Doctor).

With Brick and Maggie’s marriage plagued by secrets and deceit, the question of legacy lingers. As the family confront the impending death of their patriarch, a war of truth and lies is waged.

This revival of the play includes: set design by Chloe Lamford, costume design by Moi Tran, lighting by Lee Curran, sound by Carolyn Downing, composition by Angus MacRae, casting by Julia Horan, children’s casting by Amy Beadel and associate direction by Justina Kehinde. It is produced in association with Chris Harper Productions.
