The production featuring the music of the group will begin the tour at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on the 29th August 2025.

As the new musical continues its run at the The Alexandra, Birmingham until the 30th November, it has been confirmed that it will be embarking on a tour from late 2025 until the 10th May 2026.
Produced by Steps themselves as well as ROYO with Pete Waterman and Fascination Management, Here & Now features an original book by Shaun Kitchener and is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh and choreographed by Olivier Award winning Matt Cole.
Welcome to seaside superstore Better Best Bargains, where it’s Friday night, the vibe is right, and everyone’s dancing in the aisles. But when Caz discovers the shelves are stocked with lies and betrayal, the summer of love she and her friends dreamed of suddenly feels like a tragedy. Have they all lost their chance of a ‘happy ever after’? Or does love have other plans in store…
While casting has yet to be announced, the production is set to visit Manchester, Glasgow, Woking, Wimbledon and Liverpool among other areas. A full list of tour dates can be found here.
The musical features many of the group’s biggest hits such as “Tragedy,” “Stomp,”, “5,6,7,8,” and “One for Sorrow”.
Meanwhile, the creative team behind the show includes: Matt Spencer-Smith (musical supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements), Tom Rogers (set design), Gabriella Slade (costume design), Howard Hudson (lighting design), Adam Fisher (sound design), Sam Cox (wigs, hair, and makeup design), Phij Adams (music technology), and Will Burton for Grindrod Burton Casting (casting). Production management is handled by Setting Line.
