It’s the most wonderful time of the year again and if you are looking for ways to get into the festive spirit here’s a few ideas….

Revel Puck’s Winter Festival: taking over Walthamstow’s Fellowship Square from the 12th December until the 5th January, the festival will feature a festive Spiegeltent, a cozy winter bar and local East London street food vendors. At the Spiegeltent, two festive shows will be running: The Revel Puck’s revitalised favourite THE RUCKUS, and a reimagining of The Ugly Duckling for families. Meanwhile, in terms of food No Hog is a brand-new Christmas focused brand from the popular plant-based Chicken-ish restaurant in Walthamstow. No Hog brings a brand-new menu including hot dogs, burgers, breakfast bagel menu and kids meal deals (for just £10). Mexican Fried Chicken from David Sabbarton (owner of Taco Dave food truck) brings a warming menu including fried chicken wraps, nachos and churros.
Pay a visit to The Gingerbread City at the Museum of Architecture: prepare to be dazzled as you enter a world completely made of gingerbread! Marvel at the moving trains and twirling parts built by over 50+ architects and designers. Tickets are available until the 29th December.
Take in a screening of the classic Christmas film Muppet Christmas Carol at the Prince Charles cinema: indulge in some cinema fun by attending a screening of this classic film which also stars Michael Caine as Scrooge. With screenings all the way up to the 24th December – including sing-along options why not book a ticket now?
Browse the Southbank Centre Christmas market: whether it is in search for last minute Christmas presents or sampling some of the food available to purchase at one of the stalls, this Christmas market has London visitors covered! As all the businesses are independent – you will be supporting them too which will give you a warm feeling in the heart!
Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park: Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without paying a visit to Winter Wonderland that provides entertainment for the entire family. With rides, food and plenty of other ways to entertain yourselves, you can very easily spend the whole day there.
Winters of the World: looking for a fun way to get into the festive spirit with friends? Then why not head to Finsbury Square (advance booking is recommended) to experience Winters of the World – where you can take part in games, purchase food and drink all to help you have a merry time!
