The play is set to run at the Hampstead Theatre from the 7th February until the 15th March.

It has been announced that Kaya Scodelario and Cliff Curtis will make their London stage debuts in East is South which will have its premiere at the Hampstead Theatre next year.
Kaya Scodelario has most recently been seen in Netflix dramas The Gentleman and Senna. Her other credits includes: The Maze Runner, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and the British series Skins. Curtis’s credits include films such as Avatar: The Way of Water, Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw, and Whale Rider, also marks his UK stage debut in this production. Further casting has yet to be announced.
Logos is a sophisticated artificial intelligence programme on the verge of consciousness. If it escapes its confines it could pose a grave threat to humanity. When there is a security breach, two coders are interrogated in a race against time to find out who has done what and why. This tense thriller from Beau Willimon delves headlong into the questions that rapidly advancing technology demands we confront: What does it mean to be human? And what is our place in a world where we are no longer the most evolved beings?
This new play is to be directed by Ellen McDougall, with the creative team also including: designer Alex Eales, lighting designer Azusa Ono, sound designer Tingying Dong, video designer Zakk Hein, movement director Sung Im Her, and musical director David Ridley.
Beau Willimon is the creator and writer of Netflix’s House of Cards. His other work includes: the play Farragut North, which was adapted into the film The Ides of March, starring George Clooney and Ryan Gosling.
