The new production of the musical will run in London until the 1st March 2025.
Production images have now been released as Patrick Marber’s revival of the musical officially opens at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
The cast for this revival of the musical is led by Andy Nyman, Marc Antolin, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward. Also in the company are: Trevor Ashley and Raj Ghatak, with Jermaine Woods and Nolan Edwards. It is completed by Charis Alexandra, Michael Franks, Matt Gillett, Leah Harris, Hana Ichijo, Esme Kennedy, Josh Kiernan, Alex Lodge, Kelsie-Rae Marshall, and Chloe Saunders.
The Producers, which features musical and lyrics by Mel Brooks as well as a book by Brooks & Thomas Meehan, is based on the classic comedy film. It follows the story of two not so great producers as they attempt to put on a Broadway show to earn them a fortune. The original Broadway production won 12 Tony awards.
