The five star boutique hotel is set to re-open in April, following a successful first season in 2024.
Le Dune Piscinas is getting ready to welcome back guests to its eco-conscious environment this April as it opens its doors on the 18th April.
Based in the southwestern coast of Sardinia, in the ‘comune’ of Arbus in the unspoiled Costa Verde, the hotel invites guests to explore and relax in Sardina’s hidden wonders.
This new season for the hotel sees the arrival of chef Biscotti, who will express his passion for unique culinary creations and curated experiences.
The hotel is about an hour drive from Cagliari, the drive from the airport takes visitors through a range of landscapes to Arbus, here the UNESCO-listed Ingurtosu Mining Park is home to the remains of a 19th-century European mine. A typical seaside sandy-track road from Ingurtosu then takes visitors to Piscinas, where the gently rise and fall of the golden dunes and wild vegetation meet the gently lapping waves of the Mediterranean sea, just steps away from Le Dune Piscinas.
Le Dune Piscinas began as a simple warehouse for mining materials awaiting sea transport and first launched as a hotel in April 2024.
Nestled right on the beach, it is formed of twenty-eight rooms and suites with three restaurants to dine in (ranging from fine dining to casual all-day dining, as well as an American bar and a beach bar). To unwind, guests have the spa and gym, set at sea and dune level, or take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool, which includes a section designed for water trekking, complete with two submerged treadmills.
The hotel also has a library filled with books about Sardinian culture, including its food and wine heritage. Next to the hotel’s Piazzetta is a silent cinema where guests can browse and choose from a range of films.
