Here’s a few things happening in the world of the music this month….
Olly Alexander at the London Palladium: celebrating the release of his latest album, Olly Alexander heads to London to perform songs from his latest album as well as some of his other biggest hits as well. Taking place on the 7th April, Olly will be supported by Jacob Alon.
Sugababes at The O2: Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan are currently embarking on a brand new UK tour, stopping off in London on the 10th April.
Stereophonics to release Make ’em Laugh, Make ’em Cry, Make ’em Wait: the Stereophonics return with their latest album set for release on the 25th April. It includes the lead single ‘There’s Always Gonna Be Something’, with other tracks including ‘Make it on Your Own’ and ‘Colours of October’.
Carmen, Royal Opera House: for those looking to indulge in their love of opera, from the 9th April the Royal Opera House is presenting Damiano Michieletto’s production of Bizet’s opera.
Pisces by James Arthur: the singer returns with his sixth studio album, which as the title suggests will see him exploring the connotations of being a pisces. Released on the 25th April, songs on the album are set to include: ‘Celebrate’ and ‘Embers’.
Release of A Complicated Woman by Self Esteem: released on the 25th April, the singer’s third album follows on from her 2021 album ‘Prioritise Pleasure’ which was nominated for BRIT & Mercury awards. This new album includes: ‘Focus is Power’ and ‘The Curse’
