The original musical will have a six show run at the London venue from the 10th to the 29th May.
It has been confirmed that Queer international musical comedian and TikTok sensation, Alexis Sakellaris will bring ‘A Stan is Born’ to the Riverside Studios this May.
The news follows the musical’s runs at the Soho Theatre, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Camden People’s Theatre.
Written and performed by Alexis Sakellaris, A Stan is Born! features 10 original
songs that follow Alexis’ drastic move from New York City to rural Germany, where
an intense obsession with pop divas becomes their only salvation. Céline, Whitney,
Mariah, Beyoncé, Aretha. You name ‘em, they got ‘em. A true STAN.
The shows at Riverside are part of a wider tour, including performances at
Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Gilded Balloon), Brighton Fringe Festival, Brooklyn
Comedy Collective and Zurich Comedy Festival.
