Dylan MarcAurele’s musical comedy is heading to the Underbelly Boulevard following successful runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and concert performances at the Other Palace.

Full casting has now been announced for Pop Off, Michelangelo at the Underbelly Boulevard Soho from the 17th May until the 22nd June.
Directed by Joe McNeice, the show is set to star: Max Eade and Aidan MacColl reprising their roles as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci respectively having played the roles in Edinburgh and at The Other Palace. The company is completed by: Kurran Dhand (Salai), Aoife Haakenson (Mother), Sev Keoshgerian (Italian Chef), Michael Marouli (Pope) and Laura Sillett (Savonarola).
Pop Off, Michelangelo! is the musical comedy about besties-turned-bitter rivals Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. After realising they’re both gay, the two childhood friends attempt to earn divine forgiveness by becoming the greatest religious artists of all time. Can Michelangelo gaslight, gatekeep, and girlboss his way to the Vatican? Will Leonardo shut up about his helicopter?

Meanwhile, the creative team involved with the production includes: choreography by Sundeep Saini, musical supervision and orchestrations by Aron Sood, costume design by Emily Bestow, lighting design by Adam King and casting by Sarah-Jane Price.
