The live action re-make of the Disney animated film is set to be released in cinemas on the 21st May.

Hannah Waddingham (who is in the film as Ground Councilwoman) and Stitch himself were among those in attendance at today’s special screening of Lilo & Stitch in London today.
Also in attendance at the screening were: Rob Beckett, Binky Felstead, Cally Jane Beech, Cara Delahoyde, Carrie Hope Fletcher, Daisy May Cooper, Dymund, Heidi Range, Jim Chapman, Judi Shekoni, Kat Shoob, Kelsey Parker, Laura Tobin, Linda Robson, Louise Pentland, Michail Antonio, Mollie King, Nadiya Bychkova, Tamara Ecclestone and Vanessa Feltz.
The film, based on the 2002 animated feature, follows the story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps to mend her broken family.
This live action re-make is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the Oscar®-nominated filmmaker behind the animated feature film “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On”. The film stars Maia Kealoha, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, , Chris Sanders, with Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis.
Other original stars from the 2002 film in new roles include Tia Carrere and Amy Hill, who voiced Nani and Mrs. Hasagawa , play social worker Mrs Kekoa and Tūtū in the upcoming movie. Jason Scott Lee, who previously voiced Nani’s boyfriend David, stars as a lū’au manager.
Lilo & Stitch also cinematography by Nigel Bluck and music by Dan Romer.
This live action adaptation follows on from other Disney live-action films including Snow White, Cinderella and The Little Mermaid.
