The production plays at New York’s Lyric Theatre.

It has been announced that Tom Felton will make his Broadway debut in the New York production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – reprising his role of Draco Malfoy.
Having played the character in the Harry Potter film series, he will play the role on stage for 199 weeks only from the 11th November until the 22nd March.
The news marks the first time that a member of the original Harry Potter film cast has joined the stage production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which follows the new generation of Hogwarts students and their adventures.
Talking about the news, Tom Felton said: “Being a part of the Harry Potter films has been one of the greatest honours of my life. Joining this production will be a full-circle moment for me, because when I begin performances in Cursed Child this autumn, I’ll also be the exact age Draco is in the play. It’s surreal to be stepping back into his shoes – and of course his iconic platinum blond hair – and I am thrilled to be able to see his story through and to share it with the greatest fan community in the world. I look forward to joining this incredible company and being a part of the Broadway community.”
Directed by John Tiffany, the play is based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany and is a new play by Jack Thorne. It features movement by Steven Hoggett, set by Christine Jones, costumes by Katrina Lindsay, music & arrangements by Imogen Heap, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Gareth Fry, illusions & magic by Jamie Harrison,music supervision & arrangements by Martin Lowe, and casting by Julia Horan CDG.
