NEWS: Wembley Park Announces Summer Rocks

It has been announced that Wembley Park wil be presenting ‘Summer Rocks’, a season filled with a range of events and public art to enjoy.

Starting this month, Wembley Park Sessions brings open-air performances to its tree-lined boulevards, celebrating 10 years of Busk in London – the Mayor of London-backed programme that gives emerging artists a stage.

Meanwhile, on the 13th July Wembley Park will mark the 40th anniversary of one of the most iconic concerts of all time with Live Aid 40: A Wembley Park Tribute -a free, public outdoor screening of the 1985 event, enhanced by live musicians and talks. This day-long event will bring together music fans from across London and beyond.

In addition, Wembley Park will also be offering two special, free orchestral concerts on its open-air Sound Shell stage, under the arch of the national stadium on iconic Olympic Way. Performed by the City String Ensemble, Lana Del Rey: The String Sessions (1 July) reimagines Lana’s soundscapes, while Coldplay: The String Sessions (6 August) brings Coldplay’s anthems to life through sweeping arrangements.

It has also been announced that Wembley Park will expand on its outdoor art trail with bold new works across the neighbourhood. Following the viral success of the Swiftie Steps last year , new large-scale murals will celebrate the music and imagery of Coldplay, Oasis and Lana Del Rey, turning the Spanish Steps into a rotating cultural landmark.

In the newly opened  Union Park, a dramatic 70-metre panoramic artwork by celebrated artist AlecLDN will become the centrepiece of the green space, overlooking an extensive pond complete with sun loungers. From the 14th June,  Art in the Park invites residents and visitors alike to join free life drawing classes across the summer led by celebrated artist Laxmi Hussain, taking place at Samovar Space in the heart of Wembley Park.

Fitness and wellbeing will take centre stage in July with the Wembley Park Wellness Festival, a brand-new, one-day celebration of movement, music and motivation on Sunday 20th July 2025. Delivered in partnership with high-energy fitness hub Buzz Gym, the event features free outdoor workouts, live DJs, healthy street food and a full day of activities designed to energise everyone.

Sessions will include Hyrox, Body Balance, and Glute Camps, alongside mental health and peak performance seminars. Designed to inspire people of all fitness levels, the Wembley Park Wellness Festival offers an open, high-energy environment to get moving right in front of the world’s most iconic sporting venue.

Every weekend on non-event days, Wembley Park’s Market Square will come alive with the open-air Farmers’ Market, hosted by the organisers behind the world-famous Portobello Market. The market  will bring together over 40 traders offering everything from fresh produce and street food to handmade crafts and antiques.

On the evening of 5 July, Wembley Park Pride returns for its fourth year as a joyful finale to London’s Pride parade. This year’s headliner is Mark Bittlestone, a London-based stand-up comedian known for his sharp wit and original take on the queer experience.

Claudio Giambrone, Head of Cultural Programming, Wembley Park said: “We are looking forward to hosting an amazing summer here in Wembley Park this year, with something for everyone to enjoy. From regular visitors who delight in our ever-expanding cultural scene to those who are discovering the sights, sounds and flavours of Wembley Park for the first time, all are welcome to our biggest and boldest summer season so far.”
