The Broadway duo are preparing to make their London debut with a show at the Crazy Coqs this August.

Hi both, how does it feel to be making your London debut? It feels surreal — and incredibly special. London is such a vibrant theatrical city with a deep love for musical theatre, and to be bringing our show here, together, is a true honor. This debut feels like a beautiful milestone in our journey, both professionally and personally.
What can London audiences expect from the show? They can expect a heartfelt, high-energy evening that blends Broadway glamour with old Hollywood charm. Our show is a celebration of classic musical theatre — full of song, tap dancing, and personal stories from our life together. It’s intimate and joyful, with a bit of sparkle, nostalgia, and a lot of love.
How did you both meet? We met doing White Christmas, a lovely holiday musical — and at the time, we were just friends. But a few months later, after the show had ended, we both admitted we had secret crushes on each other the whole time. We started dating while Nic was on tour with Jersey Boys, and the rest is history. We’ve been together ever since — onstage and off.
What do you enjoy the most about performing? We love the exchange of energy with a live audience — there’s truly nothing like it. But performing together adds a whole other layer. It’s rare to share this kind of creative partnership as a married couple, and we don’t take it for granted. There is definitely some bickering onstage that isn’t planned…. married life… lol.
Every time we step onstage, we get to tell our story, celebrate the art we love, and do it side by side.
During your careers, have you had a show that you have most enjoyed taking part in? We’ve been fortunate to perform in some amazing productions, but creating Nic & Desi has been one of the most rewarding experiences. It’s our story, our style, and our heart — all wrapped up in one show. That said, White Christmas will always have a special place in our hearts… it brought us together.
Desi: My Broadway Debut playing the role of Anita in the Revival of West Side Story is definitely a huge milestone in my career. It has always been my favorite musical. It was also one of my favorite films to watch when I was introduced to it. Anita was a dream role!
Nic: Playing the role of Bert in Mary Poppins both in the National Tour and Broadway productions was a magical experience and dream come true! I grew up watching the film so this was a big moment in my career.
Nic & Desi: Broadway to Hollywood will play at the Crazy Coqs on the 17th August.
