NEWS: Casting Confirmed for Theatr Clwyd’s Production of The Red Rogue of Bala

Casting has been announced for the world premiere of Chris Ashworth-Bennion’s play, heading to the stage later this year.

Directed by Dan Jones, the production is set to star: Simon Holland Roberts as Coch Bach y Bala, Maxine Evans, Julian Lewis Jones, Rhys Ap Trefor, Wyn Bowen Harries, Theo Woolford Geraint De Carvalho, and Qasim Mahmood.

1913. In a dark, dingy pub, stood on a table top soaked in beer and ale, John Jones – rogue and scoundrel – holds the crowd in the palm of his hands with stories of mischief and misdemeanours…

But when his son falls for the daughter of the local landowner trouble is not far behind…

The creative team behind the production includes: Mark Bailey (Set & Costume Designer), Simisola Majekodunmi (Lighting Designer), Johnny Edwards (Sound Designer), Mared Williams (Musical Director), and Bethan Clark (Fight Director), with casting by Olivia Barr.
