The production is set to begin performances at the theatre from the 10th September.

Officially opening at the Bridge Theatre on the 18th September and running until the 8th November, rehearsal images have been released for this revival of The Lady From the Sea.

The cast for show written and directed by Simon Stone after Henrik Ibsen includes: Alicia Vikander as Ellida alongside Andrew Lincoln as Edward, Isobel Akuwudike as Hilda, Joe Alwyn as Heath, Brendan Cowell as Finn Marcet, John Macmillan as Lyle and Gracie Oddie-James as Asa. Understudies are Daniel Gregory, Sarah Moss, Sadhbha Odufuwa-Bolger and Nathan Wiley.

Fearful she may have settled too easily for a comfortable life married to a well-off doctor, Ellida searches for a way to break the predictable routine her existence has become. When a lover from her past appears at their remote country house, she has to choose between the life she has now built and the one she left behind long ago.
The show is produced by London Theatre Company and Wouter van Ransbeek, with the creative team also including: set designer Lizzie Clachan, costume designer Mel Page, composition and sound designer Stefan Gregory, lighting designer Nick Schlieper, casting director Jessica Ronane, associate lighting designer Guy Jones, assistant designer Pip Terry, intimacy coordinator David Thackeray, costume supervisor Anna Josephs and props supervisor Lily Mollgaard.
