NEWS: Cast & Creative Team Announced for The Nutcracker Noir

Officially opening on the 26th November at Protein Studios, full casting and creative team has been announced for The Nutcracker Noir.

Leading the cast will be: Anita Nicole (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) stars as leading character, Clara, joined by Jairus McClanahan (Hamilton) as her brother Frank Zane and Patrick Wilden (Cabaret) as Jazz, Frank’s best friend. Christopher Howell (Punchdrunk) plays Elf Eldar, Jessica Alonso (The Great Gatsby – Madrid) is Madame Zel, a theatre critic steering the show’s direction, and Shoko Ito (Wicked) is Clara’s best friend Angie. David-Michael Johnson (The Bodyguard) appears as Clara’s long-lost father, with Alex Codd (Beauty and the Beast) as a mysterious outsider helping her bring the Nutcracker to life.

The Nutcracker Noir is an epic adaptation of a classic Christmas tale.

Transforming Protein Studios in the heart of Shoreditch into a festive extravaganza for a limited time, this immersive dining experience combines world-class performances, mischief and theatrical storytelling with decadent dishes from immersive dining specialist Jenny McNeill at Feast & Fable (Gingerline, Fat Duck).  Tickets are now on sale from £48 (show only) and with various packages available for the full experience. 

Brought to life by globally acclaimed scene makers DesignScene and immersive storytellers Secret Theatre, The Nutcracker Noir reimagines Tchaikovsky’s 1892 ballet through a daring blend of theatrical storytelling, decadent dining, and lavish, immersive sets. Written and directed by immersive pioneer Richard Crawford (SE7EN, The Great Gatsby), co-directed and choreographed by West End award-winner Gary Lloyd (Thriller Live, Heathers), and designed by Attila Keskin (Amazon MGM Studios, Apple, Pinterest, Bacardi).
